Tell LINk your views
Islington LINk collects views on health and social care services. You can call, e-mail, or post your views to LINk, or fill in the form below. All information given is treated as confidential.
LINk is not a complaints service and cannot resolve issues, but issues raised will be added to the LINk’s reports. We share those views anonymously with the people responsible for services.
Are you one in a thousand? Islington LINk has been asking local residents ‘Are you one in a thousand?’ as part of its borough-wide ‘1000 Voices’ campaign to improve local health and social care services amid the current cuts and changes.
The LINk’s target was to collect 1000 views from young people, adults and older people, on the services they receive such as sexual health, day care and GP surgeries. By April 2012 the LINk had received over 2,500 comments from over 1,000 local people. All the opinions collected will be used to inform and influence local commissioners and service providers in how they deliver and run services. It’s not too late to give your views though – LINk continues to collect local people’s views on health and social care.
Islington LINk’s Chair, Olav Ernstzen said: “One voice alone can get lost in the crowd, but 1000 voices collectively can have a real influence. Islington LINk will take these important voices and their experiences to the people who deliver health and social care to show them what the community wants, and then recommend changes to help them improve their services.”
