Community buildings
Your group may be looking for premises to hire occasionally so you can run some activities. Or you may be looking to take on your own premises, and wondering how to do this. Some of you will already have premises, and may be wondering how to manage them more effectively, or how to hire or rent them out to others.
This section aims to help groups with all aspects of the rewarding but demanding task of finding and managing premises.
- Community buildings for hire in Islington – where to find information on the wide range of buildings for hire and rent throughout Islington.
- Finding and taking on premises for your organisation – the things you need to think about – before you even start looking for premises, and then during the process of finding and taking on premises.
- Managing and maintaining your premises – the things you need to think about before you move in to premises, and the things you will need to do when you are in occupation.
- Additional Information – information on useful organisations, additional sources of information and much more.
This information on premises has been developed by Voluntary Action Islington’s Community Buildings project, which is funded by the Big Lottery to support organisations to improve the management and accessibility of community buildings in Islington.
