Islington Voluntary Sector Conference 2017

July 13 @ 12:30 - 16:00

Is Civil Society sleepwalking into obscurity?

  • Is the voluntary sector still an agent of change?
  • Have we become too complacent as a sector?
  • How well do we voice the needs of our communities?
  • Do we know the power of our own voices?

Explore these questions at Islington’s annual Conference for voluntary sector staff, volunteers, trustees and colleagues.

Vicky Browning, Chief Executive of ACEVO will talk about the recently published report Speaking frankly, Acting boldly. In a Guardian article she writes that we should “give charities the courage to call for bold reform.”

So join us for: inspirational speakers, networking opportunities, and a scrumptious lunch.

You can see what happened last year in our report on Anticipating and Adapting to Change, Islington Voluntary Sector Conference 2016.

We are again grateful to London Metropolitan University for generously hosting the event.
