Common Housing issues (including dealing with housing emergencies)

This workshop is part of the advice training programme organised by VAI and Islington Council, in partnership with the Islington Strategic Advice Partnership for front line workers who are not advice specialists but would like to increase their knowledge of key areas of advice. This programme is offering a range of advice training sessions. Details of each training session can be found here.

WHO SOULD ATTEND
This course is aimed at grass roots organisations and/or organisations targeting BAMER communities who may not have access to or can’t afford training

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

•  To assess and advise clients regarding their rights
•  Be able to identify the best course of action
•  Be familiar with signposting to appropriate housing agencies
•  Be able to advise in an housing emergency

THE TRAINER
This course will be delivered by Lilith Jones from Citizens Advice Islington.
