Advising Islington Together launched

160 people attended the launch of the Big Lottery funded Advising Islington Together initiative on 11th February. The project is led by the Law Centre, Islington People’s Rights and the Citizens Advice Bureau. Voluntary Action Islington is a partner. At the launch Mike Sherriff, Chief Executive of Voluntary Action Islington, said how important this initiative is for the wider voluntary and community sector as all community groups are working with people who are struggling because of the changes to benefits and reform of welfare.
